Solving the “Dead Link” Problem

For years, finding the latest build of USB Loader GX meant digging through archived forum threads, dead SourceForge links, and outdated GitHub branches.

We built this portal to serve as a Centralized Hub. Every file hosted here—from the r1283 core to the vWii forwarders—has been checked against the official GitHub releases — file names, sizes and SHA-256 hashes — so what you download is what the developers published.

Our Core Principles:

  • ✅ Honest Buttons: No deceptive “Download” buttons. Primary downloads go to the official GitHub releases; any mirror hosted on a third-party file host is labeled “Mirror”, and those hosts may show their own ads.
  • ✅ Files From the Source: Our main links point at the developers’ own releases, and the download page publishes the official SHA-256 checksum so you can verify every file.
  • ✅ Education First: We don’t just give you the file; we teach you how to use it.

USB Loader GX is an open-source project licensed under the GNU GPL. This website is a community-run resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Nintendo Co., Ltd. We do not host, link to, or provide copyrighted game ISOs or ROMs. We strictly support the use of homebrew software for legal backups and system enhancements.
